Appliances, burns and ticks - what's their story?

When you need cardboard brochure holders but can't justify the quantity or expense of custom printing, our Generic or Universal brochure holders are the answer. We asked some of our clients how they use them:

Argyle Appliance Rentals

Argyle Rentals commenced rentals in 1960 to cater to the needs of students, holiday makers and others, for short and long term rental of appliances such as; fridges, washers, dryers, TVs, freezers, microwave ovens and vacuum cleaners.

Based at Manly, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Argyle Rentals services all 

suburbs of Sydney. They're open 365 days of the year and built their sizable business with thousands of appliances out on rent, through solid customer service.

Argyle rely on referrals, word of mouth and leaflets on display in businesses such as real estate agents for new enquiries. Some years ago Argyle switched out of plastic brochure holders to EZIPOPs and couldn’t be happier. Argyle brand their Generic EZIPOPs with a small front sticker and leave their brochure graphics to attract attention. 

“We used to use the ordinary clear plastic stands but found other companies were putting their leaflets into our holders. This is in spite of us having used a sticker with our logo and info on the front and employing merchandisers to check on these things. Since switching to EZIPOPs, we almost never have this problem, so it has saved us time and money. By the way, you were right, they do take up a fraction of the space in our warehouse.” Explained Tony of Argyle Rentals.

The Julian Burton Burns Trust

After personally experiencing life threatening burn injuries from the Bali Bombings of October 2002, Julian Burton (pictured left) was inspired to give something back to the people who supported him and the many others who were affected.

After researching burn injury care across Australia, Julian discovered Australia did'nt have a national burn care community organisation in existence and indeed that burns are one of the top 3 injuries suffered by Australians every year.

The Julian Burton Burns Trust was established in 2003 to raise funds for the prevention, care and research of burn injury nationally.

Amy Bredon from the Burns Trust said, “The National Australia Bank are our major sponsors for this year’s Charity Dinner and Auction being held at the Hilton Hotel Adelaide on 8th November 2013.

As part of our partnership, we’re running an awareness month with NAB during October to promote our association and the importance of burn safety within the home environment where 61% of burn injuries occur.

We needed an environmentally sound way to display our brochures promoting this campaign and found EZIPOP. They're perfect for our needs and we were able to produce an informative front sticker to go on the Generic holder. We couldn’t be happier”. For more info, see: www.burnstrust.com.au

The Lyme Disease Assocation of Australia

Lyme disease is a debilitating tick borne infectious disease and The Lyme Disease Association of Australia is committed to raising awareness by:

• Gathering support to educate and lobby governments, doctors and the community. • Being a source of connection to international developments, treatments and other Lyme communities. • Advocacy for people and families living with Lyme Disease. • Core fundraising to facilitate improvements for people living with Lyme Disease.

The label that The Association used for the front of the EZIPOP was produced by their designer Amanda: “I printed the stickers on standard labels, 105mm x 74mm – 8 labels per sheet. Designed in Indesign and Illustrator then put onto a word template – printed using a colour laser office printer”
